What Will I be doing?

• Marine Conservation Education:  Learn about coral reefs, marine animals and how we can protect them
• Biodiversity ID Dives:  ID fish, turtles, sharks, invertebrates, and coral
• Beach clean-ups:  Weekly beach and island trash/plastic removal from the Belize Barrier Reef
• Invasive Lionfish:  Spearfishing to remove destructive invasive species
• River ride & Mayan temple tour with shuttle to Belize City

What’s Included:

• 2 nights hotel in Placencia (before and after)
• Island transfers
• One Night hotel stay in Belize City
• 5 days/4 nights on private island
• 3 meals/day on island
• 12-13 dives, including 1 night dive
• Conservation training and activities

• Airfare to Placencia, Belize
• Dive equipment
• Sapodilla Caye Marine Park Fees
• Alcohol and soda

Itinerary:

First Day, make your way individually to Placencia and spend time Belize living at Julia's Guesthouse. The next day we will make our way to the docks to take our boat out to Tom Owen's Caye where we will spend the next 5 days on the island helping to take care of our ocean with some fun along the way. Return to the island for a day in Placencia. Following day we head to our Zipline and Inland Blue Hole tour followed by a drop off at our hotel in Belize City. Final day, wake up and head back to the states.
